Nomizu Iori (野水いおり) is getting ready to release new single DARAKENA and unveiled a preview music video plus other details. Her 5th single has tie-up as the opening theme for anime Hitsugi no Chaika (Chaika – The Coffin Princess) plus she voices supporting character Vivi Holopainen in the upcoming anime. Voice actress, singer, and songwriter Nomizu Iori debut with single Ma Ka Se Te Tonight (2011.02.09) featured as then opening theme for anime Kore wa Zombie Desuka? All of her single releases have tie-ups with game or anime in which she also voices a lead or supporting character.
Anime Hitsugi no Chaika (棺姫のチャイカ)(Chaika – The Coffin Princess) is adapted from light novels by Sakaki Ichiro. The story follows Acura Toru a 20-year old soldier with little motivation for life now that war has ended. When his obsessive sister Acrua Akari forces him out of the house to find work he meets 14-year old sorceress, Trabant Chaika who carries a coffin that contains a magic sniper rifle. Toru along with his obsessive sister Acura Akari begin following Chaika who is under attack by various creatures and on a mission.
The anime is produced by BONES and begins airing in Japan April 9th 2014 on Tokyo MX and other digital channels. Outside of Japan no announcements yet for streaming availability.
