Sonar Pocket unveiled the jacket covers and full track list for new single HERO / Good bye Taisetsu na Hito.. They also revealed preview music video for track HERO featured as ending theme for anime Ushio & Tora (うしおととら). Their 21st single HERO / Good bye Taisetsu na Hito. (Good bye 大切な人。) comes on four editions hitting stores August 19th 2015.
Unit Sonar Pocket formed 10 years ago and most recently released 20th single Song for you – Ashita e Kakeru Hikari on May 27th 2015. Previously they provided song GIRIGIRI featured as first theme song for anime World Trigger released as part of their 18th single on November 5th 2014.
Anime Ushio & Tora (うしおととら) adapted from super-natural battle manga by Fujita Kazuhiro was first published from 1990 to 1996. The story follows Ushio who dismissed stories of an ancestor who defeated a strong demon terrorizing their town. But when he finds the monster Tora impaled with the legendary spear in his basement everything changes. Now other evil spirits have evaded their town and Ushio must choose to gain the power of the legendary spear to protect his family and friends but release Tora which may be a bigger problem.
The anime has a strong supporting cast including Aki Toyosaki (Hiyama Yu), Yuuka Nanri (Takatori Saya), Ayahi Takagaki, Kana Hanazawa, Maaya Sakamoto, and Nana Mizuki. Longtime rock-band Kinniku Shōjo Tai (筋肉少女帯) provides opening theme Mazeru na Kiken.
Single HERO / Good bye Taisetsu na Hito. comes on two pairs of editions (A & B) featuring each title song. Regular A has anime themed jacket cover and bonus coupling track.
Both regular editions include bonus coupling track “tomorrow” with tie-up as theme song for Nagoya TV 2015 High School Baseball.
