Arashi is getting ready to release their double a-side single Calling X Breathless” – cover jackets and full track list are revealed on the popular vocal group’s first single of 2013 (40th overall). Title track “Calling” has tie-in as the theme song for TV drama series “Last Hope” that stars group member Masaki Aiba. The other title track “Breathless”, described as an aggressive dance song, will be featured as theme for movie “Platinum Data” that stars member Ninomiya Kazunari. Single “Calling X Breathless” comes on three editions and hits stores March 6th 2013. More details follow.

Most recently Arashi released “ARAFES” – a live DVD that captures their “ARAFES” concert held at National Olympic Stadium Kasumigaoka, Shinjuku on September 20th & 21st. This live event featured a set list as voted for by fans from a possible 240 Arashi songs. The DVD release spans two disks and features 37 songs plus additional planned footage – approximately 200 minutes of live Arashi (more details).The DVD “ARAFES” hit stores December 26th and has topped the Oricon charts for DVD sales two weeks in row.

TV drama series “Last Hope” that features member Masaki Aiba began airing on Fuji TV 9:00pm January 15th 2013. Movie “Platinum Data” featuring member Ninomiya Kazunari, released by Toho, hits theaters in Japan on March 16th 2013.
