Tommy heavenly6 ICE CREAM HEAVEN ♡ FOREVER new album delayed

Tommy heavenly6 (Tomoko Kawase) via her twitter account revealed the title of her planned new album TOMMY ♡ ICE CREAM HEAVEN ♡ FOREVER but also stated its release has been delayed. The album was planned to include new song “RUBY EYES” with tie-in as the theme song for Fuji TV drama Kiyoko Ranman which stars Fukuda Saki & Ishigaki Yuma. Tomoko Kawase stated it’s been difficult switching from her more pop “february6” persona to the more rock “heavenly6”. She apologized to fans who were looking forward to her heavenly6 work and didn’t want them to loose trust. There were discussions about how to change the album to meet the release date, content changes, track reductions but Tomoko Kawase tweeted she wanted the album to be of the same quality as the recently release album in her february6 persona. Ultimately she decided to delay the release (date undecided).

もちろんヘヴンリー作品を楽しみにしてくれていたファンの皆様にはいちばんご迷惑をおかけしてしまう…。信頼を失うし落胆されて呆れられてしまう事がわかるからそれがいちばんつらいけど、前を向いて自責の念をバネに焦らずしっかりみんなの心に残るような歌を作品に込めて恩返しできるようにします。

曲数を減らして価格やアルバムパッケージの見直しと仕様変更してとりあえず間に合わせるかすべて予定通りの内容変更なしで延期にするかの話合いになり、どうしてもフェブラリー作品との兼ね合い上妥協出来ずにイメージしているものを貫きたいとお願いしました。

昨日、10月下旬発売予定のTommy heavenly6のアルバム TOMMY♡ICE CREAM HEAVEN♡FOREVERの発売延期が決定しました。私の作業効率が悪いことが原因です。。。ちなみに発売時期はまだ未定です。。。

Tomoko Kawase as her other alter-ego Tommy february6 recently released album “TOMMY CANDY SHOP ♥ SUGAR ♥ ME” on June 12th 2013 (more details). The release is part of her 15th anniversary since her debut with the brilliant green and fans push it to #9 on the weekly Oricon charts. Tomoko Kawase is the lead vocalist/composer for band the brilliant green (1998 – present) in addition she also leads two solo projects as alter-egos Tommy february6 (pop) and Tommy heavenly6 (rock).

Tomoko Kawase 6th album as Tommy heavenly6 new album “TOMMY ♡ ICE CREAM HEAVEN ♡ FOREVER “ is planned for two editions (details subject to change).

– Limited with DVD that includes music video and more planned. Special packaging, enclosure bonus and First Press bonus planned.
