Minami Kuribayashi has updated the details for her 7th original album “TIGHT KNOT” – jacket cover, full track list, and a PV video for new song “TIGHT KNOT” all revealed. The album marks her 10th anniversary celebration (though not a greatest hits album as previously reported). Album “TIGHT KNOT” includes 5 singles, previously limited release songs, and new songs all on one CD-only edition. Topping the weekly singles charts is fripSide with opening theme for anime A Certain Scientific Railgun S, “sister’s noise”. It’s the group’s first #1 single and 5th single tied to the anime and game franchise. In the 9th spot is singer and voice actress Yoko Hikasa with her debut solo single “Utsukushiki zankoku na sekai” featured as the ending theme for anime Attack on Titan.
The album charts are topped by Kinki Kids member Domoto Tsuyoshi with cover album “Kaba” selling over 77,000 copies.

Kana Nishino has announced her 20th single “Believe”. The title track is described as a colorful pop song of a positive girl working to repel a broken heart. Its her first single of 2013 and includes coupling track “Rainbow” with tie-in as theme song for NHK E-Tele animated educational show “Little Charo 4 ~ Eigo de Aruku New York”. Girls Generation (SNSD) has announced the delay of their new Japanese single “LOVE & GIRLS” – originally scheduled for May 29th its been delayed until June 19th 2013. The single is their first of 2013 and 7th Japanese single overall. The delay may have to do with a revised Limited edition that will now include a music video for the title track.
