Nogizaka46 tops the singles charts with 10th single Nandome no Aozora ka? selling over 478,000 copies. Its their 9th #1 single and best selling opening week release. Unit Johnny WEST lands in #2 with their 2nd single Zipangu Ookini Daisakusen / Yume wo Dakishimete selling over 110,000 copies. AKB48 unit DiVA climbs to #4 with their final single DISCOVERY.

On top of the singles charts this week is Kinki Kids member Tsuyoshi Domoto with solo single “Mabataki” selling over 95,000 copies. The song is featured as the main theme song for TV series “Tenma-San ga Yuku” in which he also has a staring roll. In the 2nd spot is Hello! Project idol group Juice=Juice with their 3rd single “Romance no Tochuu / Watashi ga lu mai ni Dakishimenakyane / Samidare Bijo ga Samidareru”.

Out of the top 10 in the #15 spot is popular Korean singer IU with her 3rd Japanese single “Monday Afternoon”.

Topping the album charts is long time rock band Spitz with album “Chiisana Ikimono” selling over 76,000 copies. In #2 is Yamashita Tomohisa (Yamapi) with his 3rd solo album “A NUDE”.  Slipping two spots into #3 & #4 are last weeks toppers of a pair of greatest hits releases from Kana Nishino. Her “Love Collection ~ mint ~” and “Love Collection ~ pink ~” both added another 50,000 copies.

On top the singles charts this week is Yamashita Tomohisa (Yamapi) with single “SUMMER NUDE ‘13” featured as theme for TV series of the same name which he also stars in. In the #3 spot is singer/voice actress Nana Mizuki with her 29th single “Vitalization” with title track featured as the theme song for anime Symphogear G. Korean band CNBLUE climbs into #4 spot with their 6th Japanese single “Lady“.

The album charts are topped by rock band MAXIMUM THE HORMONE with their 6th album “Yoshu Fukushu” selling over 157,000 copies. In the second spot is rock band The Yellow Monkey (1993-2004) with a fan selected greatest hits album “Iemon” that celebrates their 20th anniversary nearly 10 years since they broke-up..

Unit The MONSTERS are preparing to release their debut single “MONSTERS”. The new unit consists of popular male artists Yamashita Tomohisa (Yamapi) and Katori Shingo of SMAP. The single has tie-in as theme song for TBS drama MONSTERS in which Yamapi and Katori are co-staring. Single “MONSTERS” comes on four editions including a vinyl LP and all editions hit stores November 28th. Read on for more release details.

OriconThe single charts are topped by Kim Hyun Joong with his 2nd Japanese single “HEAT” selling over 183,000 copies (release details) – its his first #1 Japanese single! 

The 2nd spot goes to Yamashita Tomohisa (Yamapi) with his single “LOVE CHASE” that is featured as ending theme for anime Toriko – it sold over 118,000 copies (release details). Landing in 3rd spot is longtime idol group Morning Musume with “One Two Three / The Matenro Show” -  one of their better selling singles in some time – with over 100,000 copies sold. The 4th spot goes to SUPER☆GiRLS and 5th spot is the combined 2PM+2AM with “OneDay” tied-in to their documentary film (release details).

The weekly album charts aren’t much changed from last week and again are topped by pop-diva Namie Amuro with album “Uncontrolled” – selling another 79,000 copies of her 7th #1 album (release details). Second spot still finds GReeeeN with their very long titled album “Utautai……” selling another 34,000 copies.

Yamashita Tomohisa (Yamapi) has updated the release information for his second album “Ero”. His new album features singles released this past year along with new songs for 11 total tracks (bonus 12th song on the Regular edition). We previously reported on this album release and now the jacket covers and full track list has been revealed. The album is due out July 25th – the updated details follow..

Yamashita Tomohisa (Yamapi) has announced his second album “Ero” which will feature his singles released this past year along with new songs. Its been about a year and a half since Yamapi released his first album “Supergood, Superbad” and a little over half a year since Yamashita officially left group NEWS to fully pursue his solo career. His new album is offered in three editions and it set for release on July 25th. More early release details follow.

The song “LOVE CHASE” is currently featured as the 4th ending theme for ongoing anime Toriko and was produced by MONKEY MAJIK. Yamashita Tomohisa’s new release “I, TEXAS” appears to have the top spot on the singles charts with over 122,000 sold but it will be close with AKB48 member Mayu Watanabe and her debut solo release “Synchro Tokimeki” with over 115,000 sold – final adjustments might switch these two.

On the album charts no question it will be Ikimonogakari’s latest album “NEWTRAL” in the #1 spot with over 185,000 sold.
